WELCOME TO PENTECOST INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN CENTRE THE LOGO

THE LOGO

The PICC logo was given to Pastor Esau Banda in the place of prayer and it depicts God's mandate for His Church. The key elements of the logo are explained as follows:

The Bible
PICC is a word-based Church and considers God's word as final authority in everything. As such, it is the obligation of every child of God to know God's word and apply it on daily basis for a continuous Christian life. Similarly, it is the obligation of every minister to ensure that God's flock is fed with the unadulterated word of God and never to peddle it for personal gain. The Bible says: But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God de- ceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commend- ing ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

The Cross
Without the cross of Christ, there would be no Christi- anity at all. It is the preaching of the cross that unleash- es power for the emancipation of mankind from the shackles of darkness. Apostle Paul said, "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (2 Corinthi- ans 1:18). It should further be noted that the cross is a symbol of sacrifice and suffering. We can never take the gospel to the ends of the earth without a willingness to sacrifice and suffer.
Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, broth- ers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to fin- ish it-lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying,

This man began to build and was not able to finish'? Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks condi tions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.
Luke 14:25-33
The world will not come to Christ on a silver platter, there is a price to pay. We have to forsake "all" in order to follow Christ and take the gospel to the ends of the earth. So, we have to preach in the power of Christ's cross in signs, wonders and miracles and we must do so with a willingness to sacrifice and suffer for Christ's sake and the gospel's.
The Earth Inside the Bible
It is God's will that the whole earth should be filled with the knowledge of His will and glory. The Bible says, "... For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea" (Isaiah 11:9) and "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, ss the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14). As such, PICC as God's river, is ordained to fill the earth with both the knowledge of the Lord and the knowledge of His glory through the preaching of the gospel, establishment of local churches which shall be glory centres manifesting His power and presence across the nations and from house to house. This is exemplified by such scriptures as Acts 5:28, which says, "...you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine" and Exodus 1:7, which says, "But the chil- dren of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, mul- tiplied and grew exceedingly mighty, and the land was filled with them". Beloved, we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16). We ought to live in the consciousness and practicality of this calling. We must affect our world with the doctrine of Christ. We must live out and preach the gospel until every person on earth becomes the house of His glory (Isaiah 60:7). The Caption of the Church's Foundational Scriptures
Captioned in the logo are two foundational scriptures of the Pentecost International Christian Centre, namely: Genesis 2:10 and Colossians 1:27. In line with Genesis 2:10, God spoke to His servant, Pastor Esau Banda that He had put a river inside Him which river must gush out. According to John 7:37-39, he was made to understand that the river was the min- istry, PICC, operating in the power of the Spirit to water people's lives and that the ministry would reach the four corners of the earth beginning from Lilongwe, Malawi. Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads. Genesis 2:10 The river is PICC operating in the power of the Holy Spirit, the garden are the people of all nations begin-ning with Malawi who are tormented and afflicted by the evil one, and therefore, need watering for their re newal and refreshing through the preaching of the gospel of Christ who is the hope of glory. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
