Mandate

The mandate of the Pentecost International Christian Centre (PICC) is derived from Genesis 2:10, which says, "Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads". Thus PICC is a river operating in the power of the Holy Spirit to water multitudes with the gospel of life and hope in all the four corners of the earth. In this regard, its core mandate is to bring hope to the hopeless and life to the dying and help them become true disciples of Jesus Christ.

To Bring Hope to the Hopeless
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Colossians 1:27 Through this commission, multitudes are being rescued from the hold of hopelessness and fear and shall par- take of Christ's life so that they can worship God in true holiness and fear. To grant us that we, being delivered from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
Luke 1:74-75 God has raised this commission as a vehicle for bring- ing hope to all and sundry in all areas of life such as: spiritual, financial, marital, business, leadership, and career (Ezekiel 37:1-10). Many people today have been trapped in the doldrums of sickness, poverty, failure, marital turmoil, stagnation and bleakness. However, we have been commissioned to announce to everyone that there is no need to remain in such conditions be- cause Jesus Christ already addressed them through His death and resurrection. PICC has been mandated by the Hope of Glory, Jesus Christ, to offer practical solutions that will see masses practically out of all forms of hopelessness and lifeless ness and to empower them to become messengers of hope and life to communities around them. And God has clearly declared that there is no situation and oppo- sition that shall resist the message of hope and life that He has mandated us to proclaim. Wherever this mes- sage shall be heard and received, there shall be healing, revival and celebration (Ezekiel 47:1-12; Psalm 46:4).

To Bring Life to the Dying
And wherever the double river shall go, every living creature which swims shall live. And there shall be a very great number of fish, because these waters go there that (the waters of the seas) may be healed and made fresh; and everything shall live wherever the riv- er goes.
Ezekiel 47:9 It is evident wherever you are today, that communities are overwhelmed with deaths of all kinds, the most dangerous of which is spiritual death. PICC is a double river that shall go and minister life (Jesus Christ) to the dead in the order of Ezekiel 37:1-10 and Ezekiel 47:1- 12. We have a mission to enforce life on all deadness in society through the word of life (John 11:43-44). Dry bones - struggling and stagnated businesses, marriag es, government systems, careers, finances, ministries and churches, etc., shall literally live again. Every bar- rier to manifestation of God's life in you shall be shat- tered by the word of life (God's voice) delivered to this commission (Psalm 29; Isaiah 30:30-31).

To help believers become true disciples of Jesus Christ
At PICC, we have a mission to ensure that people that have had an encounter with the Prince of Life and the Hope of Glory, Jesus Christ, are fully committed to fol- lowing Him. We shall ensure that they become mature in Christ (Galatians 4:19; Colossians 2:6-7) and be ful- ly equipped for their God-given ministries (Ephesians 4:11-14; 2 Timothy 3:16-17) and that they do whatever it takes to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ (Luke 9:23).
