When God Visits

  • 06.01.25

God is in the business of visiting His people. He can visit an individual (Genesis 21:1); a business (Luke 5:4-7); a family (John 11:1-45) and a nation or group of people (Genesis 50:24-25). Similarly, He wants to visit you in all your situations of need. There are many good things that happen when God visits His people. In Ruth 1:6, we read that the Lord visited His people by giving them bread. In other words, when God visits there are divine supplies; scarcity was arrested and abundance was unleashed. If you are faced with the lack of resources, may God visit you with abundance. Divine visitations also turn sorrow into joy. For instance, in Luke 17:11-17, Jesus decided to visit the city of Nain where He met a procession of mourners carrying a dead body of the only son of his mother for burial. However, He stopped them and commanded the dead man to come back to life, thereby turning their sorrow into joy. Therefore, by the power of divine visitations, may all sorrows turn to joy in Jesus mighty name. We also see that when God visits, the irreversible becomes reversible, and the impossible becomes possible. A case in point is when God visited Sarah, who was 90 years old, and she gave birth to Isaac without any complications. Beloved, God wants to do a new thing in your life. Therefore, allow Him to visit you in a strange in your life. Call to Him and He will answer you (Jeremiah 33:3). He will surely visit you.

Your Prayer Today

Father, may You please pay me a visit for a shift in all spheres of my life, in Jesus' name.
